Q. What is RDS?

A. RDS stands for Rolling Deposit Scheme. RDS is IRCTC’s B2B(Business to Business) web services facility which allows the agents of ItzCash to book rail e-tickets for their customers.

 

Q. What services are available in ItzCash RDS system?

A. The users of ItzCash RDS system can currently avail Rail e-ticket services. Other services viz. Air, Bus will subsequently be a part of the ItzCash RDS suite.

 

Q. What is the website URL for ticket booking?

A. You can book rail ticket on www.itzcashworld.com

 

Q. Who can avail ItzCash RDS services?

A. All Distributors and ICWs that have been registered under (ITIPL) ItzCash can avail the ItzCash RDS services.

 

Q. I am already a registered Distributor/ ICW under (ITIPL) ItzCash. Do I have to go in for a separate registration for availing the ItzCash RDS services?

A. No, If you already are our registered Distributor/ ICW you automatically qualify for availing the ItzCash RDS services.

 

Q. How do I avail ItzCash RDS services?

A. As a user of the ItzCash RDS system you will be provided an user id and password. You will also be having an Electronic Accounting System (EAS), which is your virtual account with us. This EAS account number is linked to your ItzCash RDS user ID. Once you log into the ItzCash RDS system using your user id and password you can book rail e-tickets and accordingly the effect of your transaction will be reflected on the EAS. This means that you will have a real time update of your monies for the services availed.

 

Q. What is the benefit for me in the ItzCash RDS system ?

Q. How do I know my balance in ItzCash RDS?

A. Whenever you log into the ItzCash RDS system your balance is shown on the top right side of the page. This balance is shown throughout the navigation when you are logged in as a user.

 

Q. Where do I access the reports in the ItzCash RDS system?

A. In the ItzCash RDS system you’ll find the reports in the section “Transaction” and “Reports” once you have logged in using your User Id and Password.

 

Q. How do I check availability of seats in a class of a train?

A. After entering your journey details, list of trains on the route will be available. Click on the class reflecting for a particular train to check the availability of seats in a class of that train.

 

Q. How do I book seats in a train?

A. After entering your journey details, list of trains on the route will be available. Click on the class reflecting for a particular train to check the availability. Click on the ‘Availability’ link to book the ticket of that train. You will be taken to the Train details and pricing information section. After confirming the same, enter the passenger details, select birth preference, enter the mobile details on which you would want to receive ticket details and click ‘Book e-ticket’.

B. You can also visit the Quick book in Transaction section, Enter journey details, enter passenger details, select birth preference, enter mobile details where you would like to receive ticket details and confirm. You will be taken to the Train details and pricing information section. Click on ‘Confirm’ and make payment.

 

Q. I have forgotten my ItzCash RDS password, how do I get a new password in order to login?

A. In the login page there is a link “Forgot Password” which will direct you to a page to key in your User Id and Email Id given under which your registration with us is maintained. Once you provide these details the new password will be sent to your Email Id.

 

Q. I would like to change my password as per my convenience?

A. In order to do this you will have to go into the User Management tab and within that into Change Password. Once there, you have to key in your old password and new password and click on the “Change” button. The password word will be changed successfully and you can login using the new password.

 

Q. How can I change my profile details like mobile number, email id or business address?

A. You can change your profile details like mobile number, email id or business address by visiting change profile request in the user management section. After entering the details to be changed, click on ‘Submit’. You will be informed about it through an email.

 

Q. How can I update myself about the various measures and guidelines of IRCTC or ItzCash if any?

Q. What is requisition form?

A. Requisition form is an offline form for Reservation/Cancellation/Return Journey of a passenger. ItzCash World (Franchisee) is required to duly fill the complete form for their customers and keep it for record purpose. Itz Cash Card Ltd or IRCTC are authorized to verify the form at any point of time.

 

Q. Where can I see my booked tickets?

A. You can see your booked tickets in List of Booked tickets in the Reports section. You can also view your booked tickets in booked tickets transaction with additional feature:

  • Get PNR status
  • Print e-ticket
  • Cancel e-ticket

 

Q. How do I cancel my e-ticket?

To cancel your e-ticket, visit cancel/reprint e-ticket in the transaction section. Enter any of the following details:
  • PNR Number
  • Transaction ID
  • Booked From Date and Booked To Date
  • Date of Journey
After entering the details, the list of tickets will appear, select the same and click on ‘Cancel e-ticket’.

 

Q. Where can I see all my cancelled e-tickets?

A. You can view all your cancelled e-tickets in List of cancelled tickets in Reports section. Enter a date range of 30 days and click on ‘History’. You would also be able to see the cancellation charges levied per transaction.

 

Q. What is Save form?

A. Save form is a feature, where you can enter your passenger details in advance. This will help you save time to enter the details during peak hours of your business.

 

Q. What is Processing date?

A. Processing date is the date you would plan to book a ticket for your customer. The date of journey will not be similar to the processing date.

 

Q. How do I save a form for my customer?

A. For saving a form for your customer you would have to go through a normal process of e-ticket booking and click on ‘Save form’ while making payment. The amount will be deducted while saving the form. You can view the saved forms in ‘list of save form’ in reports section by entering the processing date.

 

Q. How do process a save form?

A. To process a save form you would have to visit Book save form ticket in Transaction section. Enter the processing date and click ‘history’. Once the list appears you can click on book button appearing in front of the transaction.

 

Q. I clicked on ‘book’ in Book Save Form. The button disappeared by reappeared again after some time. What should I do?

A. If a button reappears it means that your transaction has failed and you can attempt to book the tickets again.

 

Q. Can I edit my save form?

A. Yes you can edit your save form. You can change your Train name, Journey date, Schedule date, Class, Quota, Passenger details, Class upgradation and mobile number.

 

Q. What is booking search at IRCTC?

A. Booking search at IRCTC is a section in which you can see the transactions which are in progress i.e. no response has come from IRCTC.

 

Q. I was booking a ticket and IRCTC/ItzCash was very slow. While making payment I noticed that I was logged out of the system what is the reason and what is the status on my transaction?

A. You would have been logged out of the system due to session time out, refresh/back attempts or any other kind of attempts by you on the browser while the transaction was in process. You would have to re-login again in the system. You can get an update of your transaction by visiting Transaction details in the reports section. The section will give you an update on Booked, Failed and In progress tickets.

 

Q. I checked the Transaction details section but did not find my ticket. What should I do?

A. This would not be possible. However you can contact the customer care for any kind of assistance.

 

Q. I had booked the ticket during tatkal but the ticket did not materialize for more than 15 minutes Hence I booked another refund. Can I get refund for my 1st ticket?

A. Itz Cash Card Ltd would not process any kind of refunds for the franchisees if there is a delay in response time from IRCTC. ItzCash does not guarantees any time limits of receipt of e-ticket form IRCTC.

Q. What is account statement report?

A. Account statement report is a function which will help you to keep a track of all your transactions related to rail e-tickets. You can also save the same in an excel format.

 

Q. I have given my TDR to ItzCash for filing with IRCTC. How do I come to know about its status?

A. ItzCash will provide you a reference id which you can use to communicate with IRCTC to check your TDR status. Itz Cash Card Ltd would not undertake any follow up of TDR on behalf of franchisees with IRCTC.

 

Q. I tried to book the ticket but the page did not go ahead after making payment. What should I do?

A. Kindly do not press refresh/ back button/submit the page/ close the page. Please wait for the response to come from IRCTC. Kindly do not book the same ticket for the customer. If you press refresh/ back button/submit the page/ close the page, you will be logged out of the system. You would have to re-login to check the status of your transaction. You can check whether the transaction is booked, failed or in progress in the Transaction details of the Report section.

 

Q. I tried to book the ticket but the payment was deducted and ticket was not booked?

A. Once the payment has been deducted the following can take place:

  • User will get the PNR on SMS by IRCTC
  • User will be able to view tickets in Booked ticket transaction
  • Transaction will fail and user will get instant refund
  • Transaction is in progress. Automatic booking search will help you to identify whether the transaction is Booked or failed in Transaction details of the Report section.

 

Q. How can I give suggestion to ItzCash?

A. Your suggestions are welcome. You can visit the suggestion section on the home page of ItzCash RDS website.

 

Q. How will I get the latest updates with regards to the services?

A. Your will get the latest updates with regards to the service in the following way:

  • Message ticker on the home page
  • Update from your Sales officer/ Area Sales Manager
  • Update from Customer Care
  • Update through SMS
